Hartford Chorale, the region’s principal symphonic chorus, under the direction of Maestro Richard Coffey, announces new member auditions for the 2021-2022 season.


Qualified singers who can accurately and independently prepare music and commit to a number of rehearsals and concerts during our multi‐concert season will be considered. We also invite qualified students to audition to be a part of our internship program.


Our 2021-2022 season includes performances of:


  • Handel’s Messiah
  • Alive Poems: Stories of our American Heritage by Connecticut native composer Scott Perkins
  • Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony


Rehearsals are held on Monday nights from 7:00 – 9:45 p.m. at St. James’s Episcopal Church, 1018 Farmington Ave in West Hartford.

Auditions for our 2021-2022 season will be held on the following dates:


Monday evenings, October 11th,18th & 25th starting at 6:30 p.m. at St. James's Episcopal Church, 1018 Farmington Ave, West Hartford, CT.
